Pete and Nathan are first rate. I loved it that Nathan was so particular and careful at every turn – even willing to rub off the paint from the hinges in the painted part of the kitchen. Nathan was great to have around the house: he was kind to the kids and the family dog, and reliably cheerful and pleasant. Best kitchen fitter I’ve come across.

Both my wife and I wish to express our delight at the 2 walk-in wardrobes, designed by Paul and built, in the main, by John. The finished product both looks fantastic and will prove to be immensely practical (when we move back in after the carpets are laid). I had been recommended to Fraser James by a friend who'd had a great experience with them on a kitchen he'd had built so I was already confident the guys could deliver something pretty special. I wanted something really modern and sleek – all totally bespoke – and they came up with a fantastic set of plans. We spent time visiting several kitchen design companies with a view to creating our ideal kitchen. We spent time talking with Pete at Fraser James, visiting the showroom and workshop. Peter also came to our house numerous times to advise and assist in the design of our kitchen. We felt that the service we were receiving from Pete could not be matched by any of the other companies we had visited and decided to place our business with Fraser James.
The work commenced on the kitchen – every person from Fraser James who attended the fitting of the kitchen was a pleasure to have on the build. The attention to detail and quality of work was exceptional. Nothing was too much for them to attend to – some changes were made along the way and everything was dealt with in a professional and helpful manner. The site was always clean and tidy on completion of work.
My husband and I were so pleased with the design, workmanship and manner in which we experienced during the build of the kitchen that we asked Pete to look at installing wardrobes, a dressing room and the build of a walnut bookcase. The experience was exactly the same as the kitchen – excellent workmanship, quality and fitting, all of which exceeded our expectations. The dressing room and wardrobes are stunning. We love our kitchen!
It works really well to suit our lifestyle, it’s a very sociable space. The designers really took the time to take into consideration what we wanted. Having one real chef in the house, the design enables us to sit round the work area, with a nice glass of wine whilst the cooking is in progress. The Staff at Fraser James were open, and patient, and went along with any changes we made during the process. It really was good to go to the workshop to see our furniture being made, and the installation was brilliant! We are very happy with the outcome.

Their ethics that they provide a hassle free project from beginning to end with after care definitely proved to be the case. When the project was running they were very accommodating with any changes that were subsequently made, thereby resulting in the exact kitchen we were looking for. The added bonus was that Fraser James seemed to fit in with our time constraints without any problems. Sales visits…. you know how they are, lots of great ideas, lots of big promises, and lots of enthusiasm. “We can do this” and “we can do that”, “we will guarantee our price,” we will work with your builders, nothing will be a problem”, and so you sign up. Obviously excited, but at the same time dreading the disappointment that will inevitably follow, delays, excuses changes etc. Workmanship not quite as good as you had been led to believe, battles to get things done and the million calls you need to make to get the job finished properly.
So we contacted Fraser James, and there were no disappointments, not one. Lots of promises had been made by Peter O’Neill, big promises, but each and every single one was met, on time and without fuss. All the extra bits that would be ‘no problem’ were just that ‘no problem’. There were no phone calls required to get things finished, in fact it was the other way round, Fraser James calling me to make sure I was happy, unbelievable! And so is the workmanship.
The whole experience of dealing with Fraser James was so much better than we could ever have imagined. Adam our fitter was the sort of person you would want to employ yourself to do anything! Helpful! Professional, considerate, willing (and tidy!) The full list would go on and on and on…

We cannot fault in any way, the service, the quality of workmanship, or the quality of staff and the courtesy shown to us at all times. Fraser James had already done the kitchen in the house we had bought, but we wanted to change the main kitchen slightly and add a large utility / kitchen and laundry room. Our dealings with everyone involved were excellent and I would highly recommend them.
We have ended up with exactly what we wanted and nothing was too much trouble, especially as we were altering an existing kitchen.
We also had a free-standing oak dresser made which has been a great success.

Our Fraser James experience started sometime before the project was due to commence, simply because we had a large house extension to build first!
We had contacted a number of kitchen companies, and had looked at various designs layouts and finishes, before we whittled our ‘preferred’ companies down to a small shortlist. We chose Fraser James because they offered us a no pressure approach from the offset. We particularly liked the staff at Fraser James, everyone we spoke to was relaxed, and pleasant, and always got back to us when we called. We never felt under any pressure and we never felt that we were being ‘sold to’ with Fraser James, as we did with some of the other kitchen companies we‘d contacted.
Extending our family home to incorporate a large kitchen meant that we had a totally blank canvass to work from. Whilst I’d found this an initially daunting prospect it certainly didn’t present a problem to their design team, and Paul and I worked together on my scrappy ideas and vision and his practical and imaginative expertise.
We really wanted to reflect the eclectic feel of our old Coach House conversion by mixing the traditional design with some contemporary touches, which we managed, for example, through the cupboard handles so giving a ‘twist’ to convention!
The construction was fairly straightforward from our point of view as the room was separate from the rest of the house and the guys just got on with it! Everybody in the team was really pleasant and any issues arising were dealt with. We felt throughout the project that our input, feedback and comments were listened to and valued, and believed that Fraser James are truly committed to customer satisfaction.
Unsure of the finish we were again led by the design team at Fraser James and we chose colours that hadn’t been in the frame at all! We absolutely love the mix of colours suggested by Peter and Paul, which has given us a really chilled relaxed but very welcoming feel to our fabulous kitchen!
We have a dream kitchen which exceeded our expectations and a few months on we still look at it and say ‘wow!’

Kevin and I love the feel, look and general simplicity of our very lovely kitchen. We needed something that could make the kitchen both functional and a really warm family room, where we can read the papers, entertain and enjoy the experience of cooking – which we really do. With the island we have plenty of surfaces and plenty of cupboard space so everything can be located easily. Peter and Paul really made sure we had every little detail; knife drawer, saucepan cupboard etc plus easy handles on drawers snug fit so they shut gently with a push – really nothing seemed to be too much trouble.

We made the significant decision to completely replace our kitchen which meant considerable time seeing lots of different kitchen companies. Fraser James stood out a mile in terms of flexibility and understanding what we wanted. The price was also competitive in terms of what was being provided. Having made the decision to proceed with Fraser James, we watched with interest to see whether they delivered on their promises, particularly relating to quality and ‘hassle factor’ during the installation process.
We can honestly say that they delivered on both counts. During the installation process, they came when they said they were going to come, all the people involved were charming and they made it as hassle free as is possible in the circumstances. They also co-ordinated all the work including third party trades such as the flooring and decorating. Above all, they were flexible throughout the fitting process since, even with the best design, issues arise once fitting commences and decisions need to be made, particularly in a complex kitchen.
In terms of quality, the finished kitchen is excellent and exceeded our expectations. We were so pleased they have since made us a bespoke kitchen table which has completed the icing on the cake.
All in all, it has been a great experience and we would not hesitate to recommend Fraser James.
